This is a good garden centre, with friendly helpful staff and a comprehensive range of plants, pots, tools etc, and a large covered area with a very large selection of bedding plants. There is plenty of parking, though as it is just on the edge of the town centre it doesn't take long to walk there from the main shopping area (so OK if you just want to pop in for something easy to carry!) They give 10% discount to anybody over 60 on Tuesdays (you just have to get one of their cards). They also have a café serving home made food. This is the special bit it is run by the charity Shaw Trust, which provides work for people with disabilities.
